Skyline Facebook Comments is a Joomla system plugin which allows users to comment on your website content easily and helps your website get more traffic because of Facebook Social Network.

Skyline Facebook Comments also allows users to share comment on Facebook on their Wall and in their friends’ streams. Then Facebook users click on the link and come to visit your website. If you provide a Facebook Application ID then you will be able to moderate the comments, see the plugin features for details.

Skyline Facebook Comments uses social signals to figure out the highest quality comments or give the best free exposure to any comment for each user. Users can reply, like or follow others’ comments directly in the Comments Box on the site. They can subscribe to monitor their comments or another’s comments. Comments can be marked as spam and reported as abuse, hidden from view.

Installation

Download Skyline Facebook Comments from ExtStore to your local disk. Then install the extension as 3 following sub steps.

• Step 1: From Administrator Top Menu, choose Extension->Extension Manager.
• Step 2: Under Upload Package File, click Browse to find Skyline Facebook Comments from your files, then Click 'Upload and Install.
• Step 3: Install Skyline Facebook Comments successful.

Usage

Create Facebook Comments

• Go to Back-End site: Extension -> Plug-in Manager -> Skyline Facebook Comments

 

• Status = Enabled
• Access = Public (Or you can choose other options)

Option Settings

• Basic Options

Enter Facebook Page ID and set the style for the fanbox.

• Email Notification

Customize the subject, content and recipient to notice every comments on the site.

 

Moderate Facebook Comments

• Facebook comments can be moderate directly in the box. First, you need to be the moderator in the Facebook application settings. Go to the Facebook page: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/comments

Setting for Facebook moderator

On the site listed above, select the application which is assigned to Facebook comments and click on Settings. Select Facebook user as an moderator and click save to keep the settings. Then you will be able to moderate the Facebook comments.

• Now you can view the box in Public and Moderator View. Or you can administrate and adjust the comments on your website. This allows you to show/hide, ban user or boost user.
